Lynne and Emily: Yikes on your observation on if we planned to match. I went back and looked at the picture....maybe we've been traveling too long together ? Actually Jen has a scarf on and mine is a print blouse, but there's no explaining the guys. They have been looking an awful lot alike !!!
This morning we decided to try the breakfast at our hotel. It is downstairs in what feels like a dungeon. When they saw us coming they asked if we wanted coffee, and then went down the street for fresh croissants and bread. It was nice to have plenty of coffee, but it was so hot and muggy, that we didn't.
Ken wanted to take or laundry down the street, so asked Francoise, the owner, to write down "wash and dry" to help with the language barrier we keep coming up against. She decided to just walk him to the place herself. She is very sweet, and was doing her ironing in the lobby. She was very upset because 3 of her customers had gotten pick pocketed.
Ken isn't feeling well, so today is a light day for us. I think the raw steak with the raw egg on it is takings it's toll. Ya think? Anyway, we took the bus to Au Bon Marche gourmet grocery store and took a look around. Even the cashiers are sitting and looking chic while checking you out. The products are packaged beautifully. Then we went to The Bon Marche next to it to look around. I had a little panic attach when I was surrounded by Gucci, Dior and on and on. Once again, we got to where we were going fine, but have a hard time getting "home". We did much better than yesterday though, Back to the hotel and Ken took a 2 hr nap and Jen and Brian strolled the neighborhood.

After Ken woke up we went out to the lobby. Francoise need to go to the pharmacy so asked if we would stay and watch things. We are really get a kick out of her. She makes jokes with a serious face and thick accent and then says "I pull leg" "I joke". She just rolled her eyes when Ken told her why he wasn't feeling good. She wouldn't eat raw steak ! While we were minding the shop Jen and Brian came in and wondered if we were waiting for them. No, we're working !
We all strolled to a creperie and Ken drank 2 glasses of OJ and a few bites of my ham and cheese crepe. Jen and Brian had a banana and nutella crepe and shared some bites. Yum. 
After some serious people watching (Ken has noticed that French woman are very tall), we walked back to the hotel stopping to buy some fruit at a stand on our way.
Another hours sleep for Ken and we all met in the lobby to decide how to spend our last night in Paris. We tossed around ideas, and while we all felt like we should do something we ended up having Pizza and wine at Tribeca. Jen and I put on dresses and we sat and ate and drank, talked and laughed for a very long time. Pretty good, after traveling together for so long ! 95 degrees today, so we finished off the night with a walk and gelato.

Lookin' sharp, everyone! Looks like you're wrapping things up in Paris on the perfect note. It's funny - I can't wait to get together and see you, but I sure have enjoyed checking the blog and don't want it to end! Have a great stay in Lyon, and we'll see you soon.
